Strange Images in Remote Sensing and Their Properties

چکیده

Lossy image compression is used in many applications including remote sensing. Image size and number increase this often leads to the necessity apply compression. In lossy compression, it assumed that rate-distortion curves are monotonous functions assumption put into basis of control. However, has been shown recently there grayscale color images called “strange” for which not monotonous. paper, we demonstrate some sensing can be strange as well takes place JPEG other techniques. Analysis properties using Spearman rank order correlation coefficient carried out several parameters characterizing complexity have a rather high with probability given strange. For example, entropy one such parameters.

Targeted change detection in remote sensing images

Recent developments in the remote sensing systems and image processing made it possible to propose a new method of the object classification and detection of the specific changes in the series of satellite Earth images (so called targeted change detection). In this paper we propose a formal problem statement that allows to use effectively the deep learning approach to analyze time-dependent ser...

Images Fusing in Remote Sensing Mapping

The remote sensing images fusing is a method, which integrates multiform image data sets into a new data set by geometry matching, color transformation and other ways. During mapping the LiJiang county in YunNan province with high-resolution remote sensing image, we found that it is a good way to utilize the technique of image fusing, which includes image matching, image interpolation, edge enh...

Combining of Magnitude and Direction of Change Indices to Unsupervised Change Detection in Multitemporal Multispectral Remote Sensing Images

In remote sensing, image-based change detection techniques, analyze two images acquired over the same area at different times t1 and t2 to identify the changes occurred on the Earth's surface. Change detection approaches are mainly categorized as supervised and unsupervised. Generating the change index is a key step for change detection in multi-temporal remote sensing images. Unsupervised chan...

Symmetry properties in polarimetric remote sensing

This paper presents the relations among polarimetric backscattering coefficients from the viewpoint of symmetry groups. Symmetry of geophysical media encountered in remote sensing due to reflection, rotation, azimuthal, and centrical symmetry groups is considered for both reciprocal and nonreciprocal cases. On the basis of the invariance under symmetry transformations in the linear polarization...
